Emy-Jade Viens joined our Montreal team in 2018 after working for over two years in a boutique law firm in civil and commercial litigation, as well as in labor law.
She owns a civil law Licence from Ottawa University, with broad distinction (magna cum laude) and a Master in law and health politics from Sherbrooke University, with honors. During her academic path, she stood out by her participation in complex and innovative research projects created by university professors. Furthermore, she participated in 2014 to the moot court competition « Les 24 heures du Droit de la santé » in Sofia, Bulgaria.
As part of the drafting of her Master’s essay about the consent of vulnerable people to research, Emy-Jade obtained the prestigious CIHR Fellowship in Health Law, Ethics and Policy.
Me Viens stands out with her rigor and her professionalism as part of the realization of her mandates. She knows how to prioritize the interests of her clients and put her analytical skills and varied experience to good use.
As part of her practice, she is involved in all types of cases including construction law, real estate law, administrative and regulatory law, professional liability and labor law.
