With over 30 years of experience in litigation and conflict resolution, Me Éric McDevitt David joined the GBV Team in 2024. Throughout his career, he has distinguished himself as a reference in class actions and energy law. He also practices in the areas of civil litigation, construction law, cooperative law, and mining law.

Me David advocates with rigor and efficiency before civil, administrative, and arbitration courts. His clients are primarily composed of commercial enterprises, cooperatives, and condominium associations.

A speaker and author of legal publications, Me David had one of his publications cited with approval by the Supreme Court of Canada. Highly engaged in the legal community, he has served on several committees dedicated to the advancement of the legal profession. He is currently a member of the Liaison Committee with the Energy Board of the Montreal Bar.

Me David is also interested in international projects. He taught civil and commercial procedure at the National University of Rwanda in 1996 and 1997. Sponsored by the Canadian Bar Association, he also provided training in mining law to lawyers from Uganda, Kenya, and Tanzania in September 2019.
