Gabriel holds a bachelor's degree in civil law (LL.B.) from Université Laval and has been a member of the Quebec Bar since 2018, joining Team GBV in March 2024. His areas of expertise include construction law, civil liability, and bankruptcy and insolvency.

Alongside his university studies, Gabriel was a top-level sprinter, proudly representing the colors of Université Laval's Rouge et Or track and field team at various provincial and national championships. His ability to successfully reconcile his studies with his athletic career earned him the Governor General's Academic All-Canadian Award.
