After completing his law degree at Université Laval and articling with our firm, Me Mathieu Bernier was admitted to the Quebec Bar in 2015. 

  

His practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation, with particular emphasis on construction, insurance and civil liability law. In this capacity, he is called upon to draft various pleadings, render complex legal opinions and make representations before all Quebec courts.  

 

Mathieu has also been involved in the recruitment and training of the firm's articling students for several years, having participated in the creation of the recruitment committee, now known as the GBV Academy.  

  

He also has a keen interest in intellectual property law, a branch of law he studied during a summer session at Harvard University in the summer of 2013. 

  

Mathieu is also involved with the Fondation du Collège de Lévis. A sports enthusiast, he has also been an assistant coach with the Collège de Lévis "Étude-Sports" field hockey program since 2016.
