Michèle Thivierge, a member of the Quebec Bar for over 35 years, joined Team GBV in March 2023. With her expertise in civil and commercial litigation, security law, construction law and civil liability, she represents a diverse clientele, including financial institutions, insurers and construction companies, such as contractors, distributors and manufacturers, in addition to acting as an accredited mediator.

 

Beyond her professional commitment, Michèle is an active member of her professional order, having served on several committees and the General Council of the Quebec Bar. She has also chaired the Governance and Ethics Committee of the Quebec Bar as well as the Superior Court Committee of the Quebec Bar. She currently sits on the Quebec Bar's Petitions Committee.

 

As a member of her community, Michèle was a commissioner and then president of the Executive Committee of the Commission scolaire des Découvreurs for several years and remains active in many boards of directors, including the Association provinciale des constructeurs d'habitation du Québec (APCHQ - Québec region). Her specialized expertise and her passion for professional excellence make her a valuable asset to the GBV team.
